Wee Dub Festival 2012

So Wee Dub 2012 is so close now we can almost smell the herb! We’ve released set times for all of the “Sessions” over on the Programme Page, so you can plan your weekend accurately. One of the highlights of this year’s Wee Dub Festival will definately be the Mad Professor Dub Clinic. Titled “Roots of Dub”, the legendary producer will take us on a personal journey through his story in dub music, from early life through his collaborations with giants like Lee Perry and Massive Attack. The workshop will be in the Bongo Club, and we’ll be using Big Toes Hi-Fi to power it.

A Happy New Year from the Wee Dub family, we hope you had a cracker. So it’s 2012 and that means that the Wee Dub Festival is nearly upon us – just 4 weeks to go. On our side excitement is really building, and we cannot wait to bring to you all the great artists and events we have lined up.

Tickets are selling fast now – remember you can buy them on-line at Skiddle or in physical shops in Edinburgh and Glasgow. See the Ticket Page for more info. If you want to go to most or all of the events, a Weekend Ticket is best for you, but you can also buy tickets for each individual event.

That’s right, Earlybird Weekend Tickets are on sale till Friday 9th December. They cost £30+bf and will give you access to the entire festival, including the Mad Professor Dub Workshop (but you must sign up for this). So that’s 3 clubnights packed with talent, 2 cracking live gigs, workshops, film screenings and more.

Greetings…we’ve been busy behind the scenes putting the final touches to Wee Dub Festival. The line-up is almost complete now – recent additions include jungle-dub scientist Morphy, doing a live set, and 8-piece Glagow-based ska machine Esperanza getting things skanky on Sunday evening before the Mad Professer/Mungo’s Hi-Fi finale.

So we’ve updated the Programme page and added most of the Artist Info. We have to admit it’s looking really rather tasty! Gonna be one wicked weekend people! Remember earlybird tickets are currently on sale till the end of November, and they are limited. Get them at the Ticket Page.

We have recently started selling tickets for Wee Dub Festival 2012. Very exciting indeed. We’re selling Weekend Earlybird tix just now for the bargain price of £30. These will get you into all 5 shows that form part of the festival, as well as the workshops and other treats. Individual tickets for each show are also available.
